At binx we will always recommend in-person clinical care when a patient is showing symptoms because they will likely need to be treated regardless of whether or not their STI test comes back positive. In other words, even if your STI tests are negative, a clinician may recommend treatment for specific symptoms. Additionally, a clinician may determine that treatment should be started before the test results are available.
Why do you recommend I seek in-person care if I'm having STI symptoms?
If you're having symptoms, a clinician may recommend treatment regardless of your STI test results.
